When to Call Our Office or Go to the Hospital
- Call our office if you are experiencing:
- Severe nausea or vomiting.
- Severe lower abdominal pain.
- Painful or burning urination.
- Spotting or heavy bleeding.
- Leaking or a gush of fluid.
- Severe headache unrelieved in 2-3 hours.
- Blurred vision, fainting or dizziness.
- Fever greater than 102°F that does not respond to Tylenol.
- Sudden swelling of face or hands.
- Go to the hospital:
- If you are near your due date – 36 weeks or beyond:
- Contractions every 5 minutes for an hour that are painful.
- If you believe your water broke.
- Vaginal bleeding like a period.
- No or decreased fetal movements.
