When to Call Our Office or Go to the Hospital

  • Call our office if you are experiencing:
    • Severe nausea or vomiting.
    • Severe lower abdominal pain.
    • Painful or burning urination.
    • Spotting or heavy bleeding.
    • Leaking or a gush of fluid.
    • Severe headache unrelieved in 2-3 hours.
    • Blurred vision, fainting or dizziness.
    • Fever greater than 102°F that does not respond to Tylenol.
    • Sudden swelling of face or hands.
  • Go to the hospital:
    • If you are near your due date – 36 weeks or beyond:
      • Contractions every 5 minutes for an hour that are painful.
      • If you believe your water broke.
      • Vaginal bleeding like a period.
      • No or decreased fetal movements.
