Mary Rutan Health operates a retail pharmacy at the Mary Rutan Health Center, 1134 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine, offering full pharmacy service for the convenience of our patients, visitors and community. Our pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians and support personnel work together to assure patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care possible. Our pharmacy is open 7 days a week.
Bedside prescription delivery
Patients can have their prescriptions filled and delivered directly to their hospital room prior to being discharged, eliminating the often inconvenient extra stop between hospital and home. This service includes one-on-one consultations before the patients leave the hospital to ensure an understanding of any new medications. For patients, this means more personal attention and help understanding how and when to take new drugs, as well as addressing concerns with medications they are already taking.
Post-Graduate Pharmacy Residency Program
The Mary Rutan PGY1 Residency Program was established in 2014 and is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
