Drs. Kimberly Klaphchar, DO; Gordon Katz, DO; and Clifton Hood, DO lead our Mary Rutan Ear, Nose & Throat team. We also have a staff of certified audiologists who perform hearing evaluations as well as offer hearing aid services. As a group, they cover a wide spectrum of diagnoses and surgical treatment of the head and neck. This includes basic and advanced, complex adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat problems, sinus surgery, ear surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, and treatment.

Dr. Kimberly Klapchar is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine; Dr. Klapchar completed her residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Gordon Katz is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his medical degree from A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. Dr. Katz did his residency at Otorhinolaryngology/Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford, N.J.
Dr. Clifton Hood, is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery; Dr. Hood completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology and Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. He has served as the President of Medical staff of Doctors Hospital, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Ohio University College of Medicine, Chairman of Ear, Nose & Throat Department of St. Ann's Hospital and a member of the Quality Care committee at the Central Ohio Surgical Institute.
