Mary Rutan Health and Mary Rutan Foundation are steadfast in our commitment to supporting the communities we serve.
As a non-profit health system, we focus our limited sponsorship dollars on opportunities that best align with our vision, mission, and values, as well as those that enrich the lives of those in our community. While we wish we could fulfill every sponsorship request, MRH receives hundreds of requests a year, and our sponsorship capabilities must be limited. However, we often:
- Support organizations that align with our mission and work on issues we care about.
- Support local, non-profit organizations that rely on community contributions and focus on wellness and economic development.
- Sponsor events that will not only increase awareness of Mary Rutan Health but also significantly contribute to the Mary Rutan Foundation's health and wellness initiatives, thereby making a positive impact on our community.
- Sponsor events that will strengthen our community relations and philanthropy efforts.
- Support school-based initiatives. Priority will be given when there is an established partnership between the school system and Mary Rutan Health.
Items are rarely considered when not focused on health and wellness. Events, causes, and items not eligible for funding include:
- Benefit events whose primary beneficiary is an individual or family.
- Private travel or club teams.
- Political candidates.
- Those that discriminate for any reason, including race, color, creed, religion, sex or national origin.
- Yearbooks, prom/after prom and school parties.
