Ryan McNeilan, MD
Biography
An Ohio native, Ryan McNeilan, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and treating knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle injuries. Dr. McNeilan graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University with a degree in exercise science education and went on to complete medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at The Ohio State University and was named Junior Resident of the Year. After his residency, he left Ohio to complete a year of fellowship training focusing solely on sports medicine orthopedic surgery at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver, Colorado. During this fellowship, he provided orthopedic care to elite-level athletes as an assistant team physician for Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies and the National Football League’s Denver Broncos.
He is proud to be back in his home state of Ohio, where he provides first-class orthopedic care at Mary Rutan Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Bellefontaine. He resides in Versailles, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
