Melissa Noble, Athletic Trainer

Biography

Melissa has 28 years of sports medicine experience in clinical, collegiate, industrial and high school settings. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science, Athletic Training concentration, from Wilmington College in 1996. From 1996 to 2011, Melissa began and continued her athletic training career working for the local hospital, Clinton Memorial, and returned to her alma mater, Wilmington College, as a certified AT under Dayton Sports Medicine. In 2011, Melissa found her way to Shelby County. Melissa was a staff athletic trainer for 14 years with Wilson Health Sports Medicine. During this time, she became a lead AT and senior clinical coordinator for the Wilson Health Sports Medicine group and a published author. In 2015, Melissa co-authored “Athletic Training Clinical Workbook, A Guide to the Competencies”. Melissa was involved with the Wellness Committee during her time with Wilson Health. She assisted with future development/partnership with local high schools, community outreach programs (Shelby County YMCA), and the 2019 top five Ohio Hospital Association Health Care Worker of the Year. Melissa is certified with the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Training, Ohio, licensed through the OTPTAT Board, and is a Level 1 IASTM specialist.
