Biography

Krystal Foley, PA-C, CAO, brings more than a decade of orthopedic experience to Mary Rutan Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from The Ohio State University's School of Allied Health Sciences. She completed her Master's degree through the Physician Assistant Program at Ohio Dominican University.

For the past 10 years, Krystal has cared for patients at an Orthopedics Center in London, Ohio, where she worked alongside several orthopedic surgeons and gained extensive hands-on experience. Her skills include performing digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures, as well as assisting in the operating room. She is also highly experienced in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, joint injections, and cast and splint applications.

In addition to her clinical practice, Krystal is passionate about patient education. She developed and implemented a "Joint Class," an educational program designed to prepare patients for hip and knee replacement surgery. Covering topics from the surgical procedure and pain management to physical therapy and post-operative care, the program aimed to reduce anxiety, empower patients to actively participate in their recovery, and support better surgical outcomes and smoother recoveries.

Krystal is excited to join the Mary Rutan Health team and collaborate with its talented group of orthopedic surgeons. She is dedicated to building strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality care that helps patients return to the activities they love.

Outside of work, Krystal enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, ages 9, 7, and 4. Much of their free time is spent at youth sporting events, especially soccer and baseball. When she's not cheering from the sidelines, Krystal enjoys attending Ohio State football games, taking Pilates classes, and playing pickleball.
