Abdul Dada, MD

Biography

Dr. Abdul Dada was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, to his parents, who were refugees. After finishing High School, he decided to stay in Columbus and become a Buckeye at The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. From there, he attended St. James School of Medicine in the Caribbean and later earned his Doctor of Medicine. With an interest in primary care, he completed a family medicine residency in Chicago, Illinois, where he gained hands-on community medicine experience, including a special rotation in Medication Assisted Training (MAT). After his residency, Dr. Dada returned to Ohio to practice family medicine in Dresden. In September of 2024, Abdul Dada, MD, joined the Mary Rutan Internal Medicine team, where he now provides progressive quality primary care with a personal touch.

Dr. Dada is a sports enthusiast, playing basketball in several community leagues and coaching youth basketball teams. In addition to his sports involvement, Dr. Dada is a history buff, with a keen interest in historical books and documentaries. He loves to travel and has visited more than 30 countries. Dr. Dada shares his home with two cats and dreams of one day having farm animals, including horses, chickens, and sheep.
