Drs. Clifton Hood, DO and Kimberly Klaphchar, DO lead our team at Mary Rutan Hospital Ear, Nose & Throat. We also have a staff of certified audiologists, who perform hearing evaluations, as well as offering hearing aid services. As a group, we cover a wide spectrum of diagnosis and surgical treatment of the head and neck. Dr. Clifton Hood, a graduate from the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery; Dr. Hood completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology and Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. He has served as the President of Medical staff of Doctors Hospital, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Ohio University College of Medicine, Chairman of Ear, Nose & Throat Department of St. Ann's Hospital and a member of the Quality Care committee at the Central Ohio Surgical Institute.
Dr. Kimberly Klapchar, a graduate from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine; Dr. Klapchar completed her residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
