Kari has been studying Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine since 2016 and received her certification as an IFM practitioner in the fall of 2021. Over the last 5 years, she has been implementing functional medicine principles into her practice while working with patients eager to find alternatives to their health concerns. Kari’s primary area of focus is gastrointestinal health and its far reaching impact on an individual’s overall wellbeing. She focuses heavily on lifestyle and preventative medicine, looking at patients’ genetic and social risk factors and working with them to create sustainable changes leading to a healthier life.
