Mary Rutan Hospital's new clinic space will expand the spectrum of care and scheduling options for Champaign County residents.
The new Mary Rutan Hospital Specialty Care Center represents Mary Rutan Hospital's fourth expansion into Champaign County in less than five years. At 209 Lippincott Lane, the new space will be the home to services that include pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, general surgery, behavioral health and nutritional counseling.
The new 3400 square foot facility is located next to the Mary Rutan Hospital Therapy & Sports Medicine location and down the street from the Mary Rutan Hospital Urbana Clinic.
The expansion of services to the new Mary Rutan Hospital Specialty Care Center allows more room at the current 1880 E. US Hwy 36 location for the increase in demand for primary care and orthopedics. These services will remain at the Mary Rutan Hospital Urbana Clinic location, along with laboratory and x-ray services.
"We're excited to expand with our multispecialty clinic approach in the Urbana community. The new Specialty Care Center allows us space to place more of our specialty care providers and increase their scheduling availability," said Tom Denbow, Vice President of Ambulatory Clinics.
Coverage in Urbana provided by Mary Rutan Hospital now includes the Mary Rutan Hospital Specialty Care Center at 209 Lippincott Lane, offering pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, general surgery, behavioral health and nutrition therapy. The Mary Rutan Hospital Urbana Clinic at 1880 E. US Hwy 36, offering primary care, on-site laboratory, orthopedics and x-ray. The Mary Rutan Hospital Therapy & Sports Medicine location at 211 Lippincott Lane rounds out the third location and together, these locations offer nine specialty areas of service.
